One Peace of Magic 

Freedom, Peace and Warmth, Joy and Magic are the key words describing the music and presence of the Duo.

Carefully chosen repertoire consists of old beautiful and well known songs such as Over the Rainbow, Moon River, What a Wonderful World, next to jazz classics such as A Child is Born, Crystal Silence, Skylark … It intertwines with original compositions and modern arrangements of Lithuanian folk songs.

Rugilė Daujotaitė

The debut album of Rugilė and A Promise Quartet was released in 2014.
Titled “A Promise”, Album received positive critics from the press, was played in dutch national and local radio stations: Radio 6, Sublime FM, Radio Helmond, Radio Rijnmond.
Album is on sale in physical format in the Netherlands, Japan and Lithuania. It is available in digital format on iTunes, Spotify, CdBaby.

Rugilė Daujotaitė currently resides in the Netherlands. Working in Amsterdam and Den Haag, Rugilė is finishing her Jazz Vocals master studies in a prestigious Conservatory of Amsterdam after graduating with cum laude from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
Next to performing, Rugilė composes music and writes lyrics under the Spiritual artist name *Corujinha * (which in Portuguese language means Little Owl).
Writing and singing in English, Lithuanian and Portuguese languages, reflecting on the Beauty of Life, many Faces of good/God, personal spiritual experiences, Rugilė aims to bring her message of Love and Light to listeners who appreciate the art of word as well as the magic of music.

Robert Rook is an award winning jazz piano player from the Netherlands. Praised by the jazz critics, known as a virtuoso – genius with a very distinctive musical style and memorable presence on stage, Robert had released 8 albums as a leader. He also plays on Rugilė Daujotaitė’s debut album “A Promise”.

It is interesting that Robert Rook has not only played with re-known dutch jazz musicians such as Wim Overgaauw, Frans van der Hoeven, Jasper Blom, Simon Rigter and many more but also has a master’s degree in mathematics. He has sold many CD’s in Japan and Europe, he was broadcasted live in USA and nowadays his music is commonly played in DJazz TV.
